Which One?
Once there was a man who was robbed and beaten
On the road to Jericho
A priest came by in a hurry and thought,
“I should help, but I really must go.”
Along came a Samaritan who saw the beaten man
And was moved with pity
So, he picked him up and took him to be cared for
At an inn in the closest city
And Jesus asked, “Which one?
Which one?
Which one was the neighbor?
Which one?
Which one?
Which one was the neighbor?”
The road to Jericho was a dangerous one.
This was widely known
If you could, it would be good if you didn't have to
Go it alone
So when a Levite passed the beaten man,
He feared the thieves were still near
But the Samaritan risked his safety
And overcame his fear
Chorus
Jesus gave this Great Commandment
It may be the greatest challenge
Love your neighbor as you love yourself
And Jesus asks, “Which one?
Which one?
Which one will be the neighbor?
Which one?
Which one?
Which one will be the neighbor?”
