Discover the Way!
Discover the Way is here! The CD featuring the theme song from the 2007 National Catholic Youth Conference is now available!
Nick and David C. Smith wrote the song in 2006 for the theme song contest, and it was selected by a group of high school students. Nick was one of those who got to perform it in front of 20,000 people at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio! Check it out by clicking here and here.

Nick has recently signed his first publishing contract with OCP/spiritandsong.com on the song "Discover the Way." This tune was also voted the #4 Catholic song of 2007 at TopCatholicSongs.com. Plus "Do Whatever He Tells You" has been voted one of the top Mary songs at that same great site!
"Which One?" is another one of Nick's rocking songs on Discover the Way which has been selected to be on Rocking Romans' Best in New Catholic Music 2008 compilation CD.Nick was recently featured in an article in The Catholic Telegraph, the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The new CD Discover the Way contains 12 songs, all written or co-written by Nick. There is a variety of musical genres from rock to reggae, all with Christian lyrics.
Nick has been writing songs for many years, and has won a number of awards for his songwriting work.
Nick and Martin Buchanan recently won a song contest sponsored by Tunesmith for a song they wrote called "Takin'Time". (You can find a recording of it on Martin's Soundclick site by clicking here.) This is the same contest Nick and a group of other co-writers won the previous year for a song called "Hearing Voices." (Check it out by clicking here.) He has also had songs cut by Teresa Smith, Amplify, and Ashley Lynn, and has several songs used at weddings and church services.
As a performer, Nick can be found playing at coffeehouses, churches, youth/young adult gatherings, and the like. He also spends a lot of Saturdays playing wedding ceremonies.
